God's Word Triumphs

Over the past 3 months, we have seen God's Word at work throughout the Bible. We have seen God's Word creating the world in Genesis 1, God's Word delivering God's people in the Exodus, God's Word appearing in history in the person of Jesus Christ in John 1 and now finally we have a sneak peak ahead to the end, the heavenly Jerusalem, the place where the tree of life will bring healing to the nations, and where God himself will be the light for his people. And this is the invitation that the triune God extends to all to come to this place: "The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price."
