According to God's great mercy he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through Jesus' resurrection from the dead. This living hope is an imperishable inheritance kept in heaven for us. We can rejoice in this hope even when we face trials of many kind, because we know that these will just show the genuineness of our faith and will result in bringing glory to our Savior.
