Anyone who teaches a doctrine that is not in agreement with the sound words of our Lord Jesus is seeking controversy and is using godliness as a means of financial gain. But craving earthly gain is of no value and will only produce envy, dissensions, and slander. However, godliness with contentment is of great gain, because then we will be satisfied in whatever situation we find ourselves in.
