The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the exact imprint of his nature. He is the Word of God who both creates and sustains all of creation. Fully divine he took on human nature in order to become our high priest and make purification for our sins. Now he is enthroned in heaven, and one day he will return to judge all mankind.
