In Baptism and the Lord's Supper, the Lord Jesus has graciously given us visible signs of the gospel. Through Baptism, we are united into his death and raised with him to newness of life. As we partake of the bread and wine, we commune with Christ and the saints and commemorate his death until he comes again to consummate his kingdom.
